FAQ

Things to consider before coming to the lab

As a general rule, it is advisable to come to the laboratory fasting, as eating can affect the results of various analyses. However, some analyses require you to observe a strict fast. If in doubt, your GP will be able to advise you. However, there is no problem in drinking water before taking a blood sample; on the contrary, it can make the blood test easier.

It is advisable to consult your results with your doctor. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Taking medication may cause variations in certain laboratory tests. It is not advisable to change the way you take your medication. You should check with your doctor whether you need to have a blood test before or after taking your medication.

We speak the languages commonly spoken in Luxembourg. If that's not enough, we'll find a way to understand you!
